Lal Singh Chaddha | Release Date 25 December 2020

Aamir Khan Upcoming Movie Lal Singh Chaddha is the official India adaptation of the movie Forrest Gump that had Tom Hanks playing the lead role. It was officially announced to the media by Aamir Khan on his 54th birthday. The official release date is set to Christmas 2020. The movie is going to be made by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom with Advait Chandan directing it.

According to reports, Aamir Khan will be losing about 20 Kg to play his role in the movie. He will be starring alongside the beautiful Kareena Kapoor Khan so fans can expect to see their great on-screen chemistry. Forrest Gump being one of the most adored movies of Tom Hanks is a fact. The production companies and the actors of Lal Singh Chaddha are going to do their best to provide us with an amazing adaptation that holds true to the original. Needless to say, people have high hopes with this movie.

Mogul | Release Date TBA

This is a biopic on Gulshan Kumar the music genius. After a bit of a spat with the casting when #MeToo allegations against the then director Subhash Kumar surfaced, Aamir Khan is back with the project. Aamir Khan is however at this moment only a producer part of this movie. Earlier on he had the lead role after differences about fees led to Akshay Kumar not being a part of this project.

After the whole sexual harassment scandal was unearthed Aamir Khan quit the project in the capacity of the lead actor but stayed on as a co-producer. At this point, there is speculation that Aamir will be seen in the lead role considering the departure of Subhash Kumar from the project. The producer Bhushan Kumar said that he was not in a position to say anything about the lead actor of the movie however it was stated that the lead actor will be revealed in the month of July.

This movie is being made by T-series. The search for a new director is ongoing as of February this year with a few reports saying that Bhushan Kumar will take the role. Once a new director has been set for the movie, filming is expected to begin. Other actors that are part of this project are Gulshan Grover, Mouni Roy, Vikram Gokhale, and Faisal Khan to name a few. Being a biopic it will surely touch the Indian audience with the story of Gulshan Kumar. As with any project Aamir Khan takes up this movie promises to be filled with good acting and a good direction. According to the latest reports the movie is set to start filming next year with the initial release of this movie expected to be in 2021.

Mahabharat | Release Date Unknown

This is the dream child of actor Aamir Khan and its something he has waited a long time to get off the ground. There were rumors that he was working on this project, trying to revive it for a long time and its finally been revealed that this project will be seeing daylight. This movie, unlike most Aamir Khan projects, is actually going to be following the mini-series format.

According to reports, it has a budget of 1000 crores and is bankrolled by the business tycoon Mukesh Ambani. Not the typical Aamir Khan project it has turned to a web series with Aamir playing the role of Lord Krishna. It is reportedly going to have seven parts. All these reports are actually just speculation and hearsay at this point because there is not much information about this movie that has been released however there is speculation that it might release next year. There hasn’t even been a particular time frame that is set as of now. Whatever the case may be this is going to be a must watch.
