Mitchell Starc started his career as wicketkeeper; he is a person of dedication and proved himself a good wicket keeper. At the age of 14 his coach identified talent in him and asked him to do wicket keeping and also he guided him bowling techniques. Mitchell grasped the fast bowling and started his career as a fast bowler in a New South Wales under 17 team.
Due to his learning capabilities, he earned himself a good reputation in the junior cricket team. To see the extraordinary performance he was given a chance to Sheffield shield debut in just age of 19. But his performance in that match was not so good he took only two wickets.
