Sadak 2 | Release Date 10 July 2020

Sadak 2 is one of the most anticipated Alia Bhatt Upcoming Movies to release in 2020. It is an drama film and the sequel of popular 1991 film Sadak. It is being directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. Original film was starred by Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. Both these actors will be starring in the sequel, accompanied by Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Alia Bhatt announced the movie through her twitter account in 2018. It was later on confirmed that filming will begin in 2019, and so it did, in May. This will be the first movie director; Mahesh Bhatt will be directing in 20 years. The film has been especially expected because of the topics it deals with. Sadak 2 talks about depression and deals with it as an issue. However, it is also a movie about love, loss, and redemption. Ravi, the character played by Sanjay Dutt is dealing with depression.

The storyline goes around how his character helps Alia Bhatt (Shreya) to encounter a godman. The film is expected to release on July 2020, after being pushed from its original release date 25 March 2020.

Gangubai Kathiawadi | Release Date 11 September 2020

RRR | Release Date 8 January 2021

RRR is one of the few upcoming Indian Telugu-language films right now. It is being scripted and directed by famous SS Rajamouli. The storyline revolves around a fictional story about Alluri Sitarama who fought against the British Raj Raju and Komaram Bheem who was a character who fought the Nizam of Hyderabad.

The storyline is fictional and revolves around the time they both were on a self-imposed exile. It stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan Teja, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn. Alia Bhatt will be playing the role of Sita, which is a rather pivotal role. Sita is paired opposite Ram Charan. The actress joined the sets later in the filming, besides, Bhatt has roped in Ajay Devgn to play an extended cameo in the movie. Komaram and Alluri will be played by N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan respectively. The film began to be filmed in 2018 and is still being filmed in May 2019. The released date is uncertain yet but tentative for 2020.

Brahmastra | Release Date 4 December 2020

One of Alia Bhatt upcoming movies is a superhero movie that has been long expected by the Indian public. Written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. It was revealed on May 4, 2019. It is intended to become a trilogy in future years. The movie was originally supposed to be released on 2019’s Christmas, however, due to issues with the production the date was pushed to 2020.

Amitabh Bachchan confirmed his appearance on the movie since early 2019 and has been updating the fans on its state ever since. Other than him, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are cast to play Shiva and Isha. Bhatt will be playing one of the leading roles in the movie next to Kapoor, however, not much about the storyline has been revealed to the public. The first Filmation was scheduled in Bulgaria in May 2018.

The music rights of the movie are owned by T-series and the music will be composed by Pritam. The lyrics are by Indian lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya.
