Ashwin career changed when he changed his school and joined the St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary school which consist of a cricket academy. According to Ashwin C.K, Vijay and Chandra were the persons in his life who played a vital role in developing his career. They changed the bowling style of Ashwin as he used to bowl medium pace, but after the efforts of his coaches, he gets to know the off-spin style.
Ravichandran Ashwin played as the opening batsman for under 17th but got replaced by Rohit Sharma due to his bad performance. Later Ashwin played as a bowler for Tamil Nadu team. He also played in the IPL for Chennai super king. During the season of IPL in 2010, Ashwin managed to get the higher number of wickets in the whole tournament. He bowled 13 of the players and became the player of the tournament.
